Zone System

Zone System

A system defined by Dan Harrington in his book Harrington on Holdem.
The system defines 5 different zones, catagorized by the ration between the stack size and the blinds, each zone defines a recommended course of action
The zones are:
Green Zone: M>20
Yellow Zone: M between 10 and 20
Orange Zone: M is 6 to 10
Red Zone: M is 1 to 5
Dead Zone: M<1

The system is best suited for deep stack tournaments and require some adjustments to Sngs and online shallower stack tournaments

Example: I doubled up and moved fro mthe Orange to the yellow zone
