WSOP = World Series of Poker.
The World Series of Poker takes place in Las Vegas in the middle of each year and consists of a large number of high-buyin tournaments - culminating in the Main Event.
Example: I have emptied my bank accounts and I'm heading to Vegas, pockets stuffed full of cash. WSOP here I come, one-time to the bigtime!!
