Verbal Declaration

Verbal Declaration

A declaration by a player about an action without physically moving any chips.
Verbal declarions are considered binding; for example if a player verbally announces a raise he cannot change his mind and call

Example: I said raise but only put enough chips in the pot to call, tournament manager forced me to make a raise, claiming verbal declarations are binding
