Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act

Otherwise known as the UIGEA, a bill introduced in 2006 which prohibits financial institutions from processing deposits to "illegal online gambling" websites.

Example: The UIGEA caused PartyPoker to withdraw from the U.S. market.
