Standard Raise

Standard Raise

While typically refereed to as a Standard Raise, it's meaning varies. The most common interpretation is a bet that is 3.5 big blinds + 1 big blind per limper in the hand. Other possible meanings are available as well including 4 big blinds + 1 big blind per limper.

Example: I looked down at pocket aces utg and made a standard raise to 3.5x...
