Short Stack

Short Stack

A short stack is usually referring to a stack that is smaller than 40bbs. In ring games, a "short stacker" is one who buys in for this amount. In a tournament game, a short stack usually refers to someone who has less chips than the average amount in play.

Example: After my aces were cracked, I found myself short stacked.
