When a player's best 5 card hand is the 5 community cards. If all players are playing the board and nobody has cards that improve upon the community cards, the pot is chopped.

Example: The board is 9T78J and hero has 78. Hero plays the board, as the best hand he can form is the straigth on the board. If nobody else has a better hand, Hero can share in the pot.
