Outs

Outs

When you do not have the current best hand, you will often have a number of cards that could come to improve your hand and beat your opponent's. These possible cards are known as Outs.

Example: We were all in on the turn and villain showed me top set; he thought he had one until I revered one of my 7 outs to scoop the pot.
