Loose call

Loose call

A loose call is a call not justified by pot or implied odds. Often, players make loose calls when they have been card dead for a period of time.

Example: "I hadn't seen any good cards for an hour, so I made a loose call with 63 suited on the button and I flopped a straight flush!"
