Donk bet

Donk bet

A deliberately oversized or disproportionate bet made for strategic reasons, so named because it looks like a bet that might be made by a poor player.

Example: I figured he might call with his draw, so I made a donk bet of 2 1/2 times the pot on the flop with my 2 pair.
