Poker Dictionary

1) To deal is to distribute the cards to all players at the table.
2) A deal refers to an agreement of how to ration the prize money; this is usually seen on the final tables of tournaments.

Example: 1) The dealer took a long time to deal the cards; it seemed as if his hand was broken. 2) The final table tried to make a deal, but I refused to make a deal with my huge chip advantage.
