Dead Money

Dead money is money in a pot that was put there by someone who has subsequently dropped out of the hand.

Dead Money is also used to refer to a player or players at a table that are so much worse than their peers that their money is effectively dead.

Example: Villain was dead money so I was happy to stack off light against him.
