Community cards

The five cards that are are laid face up on the table, which everyone can use (in combination with their hole cards) to make the strongest 5 card hand.

Example: Hero holds 9c8c with a flop of 7h 9d Ts Ks Qh. The later five cards are called the community cards, since everyone can use them.
