Buy Short

Buy Short

Buying short is to buy-in for an amount smaller than the normal buy-in. The minimum to buy into a game is usually twenty big blinds.

Example: I like to buy short when I first sit down to get a feeling for the table. As the game goes on, I buy more chips.
