The complete set of rules for a particular game. This includes the table limit, the bet limit, and the forced bets.

Example: In $200 No Limit Hold 'Em, the betting structure forces players to buy-in for a maximum of $200 at a time and a minimum of $40. The minimum bet is $2 and there is no maximum. The two players to the left of the button must post blinds.
