All-in

All-in

To bet all of your chips. A player who is all-in cannot be forced out of the hand, but on the other hand is not eligible to win any additional monies that are bet after he or she is all-in (these amounts go into a side pot).

Example: "I was short stacked, so when I got pocket kings, I went all-in pre-flop."
