A simple ratio which refers to pot odds. In this case a player stands to win twice as much as he has to call. For example, in a $10 pot on the river an opponent bets $10, which gives his competitor 2:1 odds ($10 to win $20).
Example: I felt I was beat but I was getting 2:1 so I decided to call.
