Our Online Poker Community
FlopTurnRiver.com started as just a pure no-limit Texas Holdem poker strategy site. And though the strategies
here are still top notch, it's the online poker community that developed and flourished that really sets this site apart
from all other poker sites.
From beginners learning poker terminology to professionals providing high-stakes advice, our poker community
has something for everyone. If you're new to FTR, be sure to visit and hang out in our
Poker Forum where you can peruse thousands
of topics and conversations. And don't be afraid to register and post questions or thoughts. Unlike other
poker forums, you'll find that our members here are all very nice, friendly, willing to help, willing
to learn, and overall, just very, very cool. You won't get berated for asking a beginner's question (except
once people get to know you!) - we have a
Beginner's Circle for any and
all beginner questions.
And if you'd rather discuss your favorite TV show, movie, or any other random thing, well feel free to
post in the
FTR Community section!
Many of our senior members also run their own blogs, right here at FTR. Peruse the FTR
Poker Blogs! Become an active member in our
Poker Forum and you can have your own blog at FTR!
If you prefer chat rooms, come say "Hi!" in the
FTR Chat Rooms where you can discuss tournament
play, or organize ring games with other FTR members, or just hang out.
We hope you stick around and become active in our community, we're always trying to do more and add more to have
FTR be the coolest place to hang out and talk poker. We have our own
poker league called The Gauntlet.
Occasionally, we'll host a freeroll or members only tournaments (FTR Showdowns!), we've
planned in-person meet & greets in Las Vegas, hosted NFL, NBA, and NHL fantasy leagues, and more. We'll basically
try to organize or implement anything our community wants!
