So do you want us to point out what you did wrong or do you want to do that yourself?? In other words do you want help here or is this just a self deprecating post?

Oh well, no matter. I'll bite.

Don't min raise flop, leading the flop is bad but not horrible as you should know where you stand unless he just calls which still tells you enough. From that point on I put no more money into this pot unless a queen hits.

The turn bet made me throw up a little in my mouth.

Edit- Me saying "as you should know where you stand " ALSO made me throw up a little in my mouth when I reread my post. Laughing

So here's my question:
what is my line here, check/fold flop?
check/call flop?

what is the plan for this hand?

Depending on reads fold preflop, c/f flop, c/f turn. There are two players total at my game I felt this against preflop.

At this level most players are weak/passive types. 3bets usually indicate strong hands like AA/KK/AK, probaly more weighted to AA/KK at this level especially without any specific reads. It's a marginal call for set implied odds, so it is possibly a fold pre.

If you do call, this is ok to bet/fold, c/c or even c/f. I give up on the turn when the K pops as there are just too many hands ur behind in a 3b pot.

b/c and shoving turn is like the worst line you could take

either check-fold or bet-fold the flop. I prefer bet-fold, but bet $2.

1) Hero is UTG

2) 3better is UTG+1

3) no reads given

getting it in preflop would be pretty atrocius

i hope this is a bluff. if it is a bluff.....it's probably not the best time for it.

(assuming this player is a quarter decent)
I probably c/c flop. c/f turn. Reason being..he won't fire the turn with anything worse then qq.

That is why I said depending on the opponent, it is a shove or a fold. I am not playing poker with QQ, I am either way ahead here or way behind, and that guides my decision at $10NL.

i dont understand how this makes it push/fold preflop; is this so that all worse hands fold and better hands call?

I guess this is what I get for opening this thread...
