If he's really laggy and not just loose, then its hard to find many diamonds > T in his SB limp/calling range. He may even have something dumb like a straight here. I think I call.

Personally I would fold this. There are four diamonds that beat you, any one of which he could well have. If he didn't have a diamond I doubt that even a LAGG player would shove since that's akin to suicide on this board. And even if he was retarded enough to shove Qx without a diamond on this board, you're still smoked.

If the ADiamond and KDiamond were out on this board then I would probably lean towards calling, however.

A LAG isnt limp/calling with Ax or Kx, which leaves Qxs and Jxs, and I 've gotta think QdXd would raise flop.

Not sure what you mean here.

Like I say, depends on a bit on whether you really mean he's LAGgy, or if you just mean he's loose.

Ok, he's more loose and active than he was Laggy. He's played at least 70% of the hands to this point. He's been floating a LOT of flops... calling a lot of raises preflop...VERY LOOSE!.... He usually bets sometime postflop even into aggression.

I don't understand anything from his river shove so I fold.. he might be angry because the 4th diamond came and have a set or a rivered JT(typical favorite hand that will call any raise preflop), he might have Jd and be trying to get called by only the hands he's beat.. who knows? you can get in a better spot imo..

IMO there are loads of players at this level that take wild swipes at pots. Depending on your own image, a loose player could figure you probably aren't going to call without a A, K or Q.

1250 already in pot and he has pushed ~1500. He only needs to win this hand slightly more than 1 times out of 2 to make it +EV. Of course the odds you are holding an A, K or Q (and therefore calling) are slim, and I suspect you are folding this board more than 50% of the time.

It's just another way to think about the hand.

Sorry, forget what I wrote, I got confused.

Still, this sort of line could well be somebody who has been chasing with a diamond and now realises that this is his last chance to get some chips in the pot.

Oh, for sure. I just think theres more chance he has a worse flush than a better one, especially if he missed a c/r on the turn it could be some kind of lower SC thats frustration shoving.
