just curious, have only played minimal cash games.
seems the "gambler" aspect is high in thsese vs SnG, unless they are very good players and just fish me out of the water, or i donk them. not consistent enough for me. could it be just my approach to one stake in a SnG vs a set amount of money in a cash game?
i do pretty good with SnG turbo or non turbo though, mid limits at Stars. (i tried no blind increases once and the ROI is zilch, for me) for me i have more time there to figure out and read my opponent and his style and if how much he trys too switch up his play. one other thing is always respect your stack and even if you think your opponent is a total donk and or fish..you wont win every match.
what is needed to be a better cash HU player? ( i read the other topics here and maybe there is a fresh idea or not) |

1) Patience
2) More patience
3)...when that fails, patience
The biggest dynamic change for me when I switched from SNG to cash was that I didn't HAVE to make moves, I could wait for the appropriate time to make a move instead of being forced to by the shrinking M. |
