I havent hit my goal of 50 by Monday since I have been losing horribly, I migth take a few days off read some SnG strats and work on getting to 250(if things turn around if they dont I might to have a roll to play 200 more)

Still not bad, started at about 140, hit 185, down to $154. So I have made money just seems liek I have lost a lot.

i don't mean to put you down 'cos that's not the way i am.

you're never going to get rich from doing what you're doing. perhaps you're just doing it as a form of cheap entertainment, which is fine, but looking at your posts i sense that's not the case

i can't tell you what to do or whether poker is for you, but what i do is i have a spreadsheet where i log my hours played. $earned/hr is my most important statistic. if you find you're earning 25% of minimum wage then you need to do some serious thinking.

personally, i've quit playing SNGs. it was good while it lasted, but i'm just not making any money from them any more. i'll clear stars bonuses and that's it.

i guess your bankroll is small if you're playing such low stakes. Bonus whoring can build your bankroll and get you trying different sites, and if you keep your win/hr statistics you'll be able to see if there's a particular form of the game at a particular place that's worth your while

good luck. if you wanna chat on msn or whatever, pm me

Yeah I know, Im not making shit in terms of $/hr

Im trying to learn to play SnGs. Once I play those 250(at around 50 now and at $170) I will see where I stand and probably go back to playing 10NL ring with the 35% Rakeback.

Once I get to say $300 or so I might try to start whoring. From what I understand you should wait till you have $500 to start whoring, and it woudlnt be worthwhile to try to whore with $170.

used to be i'd say you could whore at Bet365 off not much deposit. now i'd have to scrounge around. i think crazy vegas or some of the other Prima skins? PokerRoom skins? although with your bankroll it's hard to envisage you playing high enough stakes to actually clear anything... Paradise poker .25/.50 FL probably the best

then there's always Starluck/planetluck/riskfree Cryptos/CON to kickstart yourself. or deposit money.

How are the games at battlefield, if they don’t have much of a 10nl section move to stars, who cares if you are getting Rake Back at those stakes Rake Back isn't a significant part of your poker income.

I suggest what Salsa is saying once you get to 200 casino whore it. You can get 400-600 just by doing all the online casinos. Then you have a roll to play Party 25nl or iPoker network and build a roll.

What I suggest is JetSetPoker, they have a 50% Deposit Bonus going right now. Pm me for more details if you want.

JetSet also has 2.50 SNG's

Boondock helped me own at Starluck and PlanetLuck a while back... I started with $100 in each.

Theoretically, you could start casino whoring right now if you do the 'lucks one at a time, but it would take your bankroll out of commission. I would probably go ahead and do it anyway, since grinding until you get to a point where you can throw money at casino whoring is going to take you a long time (no offense) and you'll likely spend the same amount of time and energy anyway. There's a good chance you can come out of the casino whoring venture with a boatload of money in your bankroll, hence, your $2.50 SNG days will be behind you.

There are a lot of threads and helpful posters around that could guide you if you take the time to check it out. Could be well worth your while. Smile

TotalPoker = Weirdest Rake Schedule ever.

They take NO rake until the pot reaches $5 at low limit tables? Then it's the usual 5% rake, of $0.50. Then they take noting more from the pot unless it reaches $10, but then it costs the pot just $0.25.

Anyway, let me know how it goes, Zach...this might be one to add to my NL25 Guide - http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=26892

Ouch, 5 dollar pot on 10NL might be rough to try get 1000raked hands.

Ill give it a shot I guess tho.

On another note, would it be usefull to open up a neteller account, how long would it take, do they ever take nay of your money like by charging you fees?

They count most hands. When I cleared it, I was getting about 40 hands/table/hour. If you're a moderately proficient player, you'll make another $100 while clearing the Bonus. Also, you only have to deposit $50.

If you're nervous, play for 1/2 hour. Send them an e-mail and the next day you can see how many hands they counted.

As for Neteller, I like. I haven't had any money taken out for fees (only signed up 3 months ago). You might have to wait a couple days for your first deposit to clear, but after that it's quick and easy getting money into poker sites.
