End of a $11 1-table, looong HU session. Villain is very tight HU, likes to slowplay and trap. I folded a few trash hands from the button, mostly after pushing several in a row, should I have just kept on pushing?

| Effective stacks are almost 20 bbs deep which means you really don't have to be pushing all-in every hand just yet. |

Given this, GMML is especially right, no need to open push yet when you have position - unless you fell opp is a lot better than you are, which if he's very tight HU isn't really possible. |

| Most of these pushes are terrible. You could raise 2.5 to 3 times the big blind with the exact same effect. With stacks this deep, there's also nothing wrong with limping on the button and seeing flops. |

Thanks guys, another piece in the puzzle. Sounds like I should go back to how I used to play HU before. I have to admit I felt I'm pushing too much, but had the gear stuck from the bubble/ITM with a shorter stack.
Also happy to report in the past 6 games I've finished 1st twice, 2nd once and 3rd once! Guess I'm back on the upswing, hope I don't come crashing down soon. |

QFT, you should be taking down small pots from this guy and avoiding big confrontations without at least a strong draw or top pair. |

I gotcha...yea you've kind of put him into the mindset that he's probably going to wait for pocket pairs or AJ+ until he calls you...at least that's my impression which kinda stinks because your kings went wasted. |
