I was just wondering how much different the game is between the two limits?
Because i played 34k hands at 25NL on party and after a rocky start managed to get it up to 5.6 bb/100 and thought that i might be able to move up.
Since doing so i've only played 9k hands but i've been crushed for -12.70/100 for a total of -$561. Had quite a lot of bad beats obviously, and my fair share of coolers but my stats look the same as my 25 NL stats with the only real change being my 3 bet% going up to 6.5.
Should my usual style of play at 25NL still work at 50NL?
Clar
Other stats:
VP$IP: 18.1, PFR: 14.9, 3Bet%: 6.5, WTSD 21.7, W$WSF: 43.3, W$SD: 50 |

I'm definitely moving back down to 25 to grind out a bigger roll again but i was just wondering what changes one should make to their game in order to make a profit at 50 NL?

| That's the wrong mentality. \\Poker is a game about people, not stakes. |

what makes 50nl harder is there are typically less fish at your table and an additional Taggnit or two. This means less easy money, which in turn brings on more variance.
It's not that the competition is difficult, it's just not as easy as you were finding at 10nl and 25nl. Make sure you table and seat select properly and the jump won't be nearly as difficult next time. |

| More players know how to fold preflop. You have to start learning how to win postflop a little more often. |

What has been said is all true...
Also, you'll see a few more regs at the table that 3bet you light and make life tougher when you're OOP. And less people are stacking of with TPMP.
Most players are still either extreme callingstations or extreme weaktight though, so recognizing them and knowing how to exploit those playingstyles is most important imo. |
