You're supposed to remove two sections and see if you can make a word from the remaining image.

Well, those numbers should be familiar since you've used them before. Frequently when you find unitless numbers in zest, they stand for these. They can be converted to inches pretty easily.

I dont remember the answer. And you dont need gimp for it. I did it in paint.
You've just gotta put the think into 5 strips and remove 2 of them. Push the other 3 together and read the word.

great thread here and glad I ran across it. Stuck at level 24. I see the clue in the source and think I have the clue in the jpg. Need some guidance..please please please......as to what to do next. Tried paint and got nothing  any help would be soooooooo awesome!!! |

After this, I'm locking the thread. I've been done with Zest for a while and I have given my fair share back.
12 I never solved properly. You're on the right trail. I just ended up noticing a patter with the letters I got off the first wheel and took the similiar letters off the second and third and made the answer. I don't even remember what the answer is at this point.
I don't remember anything about 24.
