Just wondering what mentality tends to lend itself to this forum and poker in general. I am an analytical chemist, with a degree in mechanical engineering. I know Fnord used to work for M$ and did a lot of work on MSN, and Xianti did the crappy menus for the Stu Ungar movie.
A lot of posters here are still in school, but I was wondering what you're gonna be when you grow up. |

| What's Econ? -- I know it's technically, liberal arts, but I put it under science because of it's logic/numbers orientation. |

I'll give you econ, but poli Sci is less a science than astrology.
BTW, how do I edit my poll? I wanted a "Who needs school when you have poker?" option |

Grrrrrrr...!!
Not the best example of my work. I had no assets and only like 2 weeks to do it.
I voted "dropped out of college." I actually never went to a "real" college. Just took some classes at a community college, but never finished it nor got a degree in anything.
I started as an artist in a T-shirt graphics shop, and found myself going from one designer job to another and taught myself (or learned on the job) all the tools of my trade along the way. |

Is there anyone here in there 30's?! Feels like I am one of the few not still in school or fresh out of it. I am impressed with everyone's resume on this list but I am feeling like an old man @ 37!
A long time ago...Graduated w/ B.A. in English, Now in the I.T. field (10 years) and part-time professional musician.

This forum has some highly inelegant people at it, thus why FTR's players are good at poker...
I'm a computer engineering major personally... just got done with 2nd year (got a ways to go...) |
