FTR Book Club Guidelines
- The FTR Book Club is a series of guided, focused discussions of Poker Books. We've covered 3 books so far. Links to past discussions are here: http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/forum/ftr-book-club-digest-past-books-t48893.html
All book discussions are ongoing. If you'd like to discuss a book that's already been covered, just post in the appropriate thread and bump it!
- The goal of the FTR Book Club is for everyone to understand the books we discuss. Seems obvious, but we need to keep in mind that players of all skill levels and experience will be participating. There are very few stupid questions.
- Posting of hand histories is welcome and encouraged. However, the hand histories should be directly relevant to the book chapter being discussed. Limit your hand histories to examples of strategies covered in the book, or questions about whether you're applying a strategy correctly. General questions about hands belong in other forums.
- My questions each week are just a jumping-off point. Feel free to post your own.
- If you'd like to suggest a book for our next discussion, just post in this forum, or PM zook.
