The table was calling very loose. Obviously I overvalued my two pair.

First full-nite playing 7 card stud and I turn $25 into $150.

Meanwhile I have a terrible night playing Hold 'Em.

Maybe I've found a new game Question

Stud's a pretty easy game at the low limits. Fold more than the fish and bet when you see a good hand in front of you. You almost can't lose money at it. It gets harder in a real game, but at the lower stakes the players don't even begin to play well.

By the way, about your two pair - that's a tough break. Around sixth street I'd be tempted to go into check/call mode. Your hand hasn't improved and nvtpri is raising you at every possible opportunity, which really starts to smell like rolled up trips after a few go-rounds.

The ante is too high in that game...

There are five betting intervals this more than makes up for the ante.

At anything up to 2/4 seven card stud is relatively easy, just play tight. Bet hard.

At 4/8 and higher you will need to get a little more inventive.
