I'm pretty sure you meant SDM there, not me. Even so, the long post I wrote up considers the case where the zombies convert someone tonight, so even if they get one we're still in good shape.
| Quote: | | 2) We need to think through the 1/3 group that can be protected. One of the hardest parts of this game is going to navigate through zombies who were once villagers. In general whenever we can minimize this navigation it should be good for the village. |
Yes, that's the beauty of the 1/3 protection strategy. We can simply randomly kill someone from the unprotected group for the first few days with no real consequence. |

sacrificing is not the correct term--those villagers have to be recroooted to the losing zombie team while the rest of us WIN.

Gator, sure whatever you say .
Basically, I LOVE a SDM lynch based on pure annoyance factor alone. Add to that the fact that he has already threatened sabotage and lynched himself, and I won't regret it. But he probably isn't a zombie lol. But you all know that, and apparently everyone is fine with it, so I shouldn't feel bad being fine with it also.

imo, we have no idea who da zombies are, so we're just kind of picking ppl blindly. lynching and pickin apart defenses has worked in the past, but we dont have info on who to pick to lynch. So, I purpose we start some fires and see who puts em out, maybe we get info that way.
I'll start. Stax's post i quoted seems highly suspect to me. He openly says that its a mistake to lynch sdm, but then votes for him anyway and adds "but yall know this, so i dont feel bad" (yes i just made him southern)
this is right before he says something about missing the fun, but is apparently disgusted by whats happening.
he also adds a "omg <3 gator" thing which has been suspicious to me in the past.
imo, this is a good fire to start. lets light him up and see what happens. |

Starting fires is going to get messy and there are so many things that villagers can do that just strike people as fishy enough to lynch.
We should try to figure out something from all the talk last night. Would the alpha wolf post at night? |

Isn't outing the roles a really bad idea? I mean if we had outed peoples roles now the zombies could just target vig or the seer and boom we lose 4votes or they could target the angel if zombies suspect angel to protect vig or seer, leveling ftw. Anyway I'm still suspicious of Stacks so...

Wow, thanks. Someone asked about the math, so I tried to figure out what would happen using the "protected villagers" strategy.

Not exactly. Since we'll probably hang a villager today, we will have a new medium tonight. It seems a lot more fun to just let the medium protect whoever he wants, though, so I'm happy with standard strategy. |

Grats SDM on a successful level
I was all good with a spenda lynch since about forever
people also generally being useless:
Boog, who isn't usually so useless, surprisingly
Flomo, who is.
I have to study for a monday midterm (yeah I know FML) -- on the same day as Month-End at my company, for those of you accounting types who know what I'm talking about. Lovely. So my posts will be scarce for the next 48 hours or so but I'll try and be around.
Oh yeah I'm pretty much up for a boog lynch and if you look over his posts maybe you'll catch my drift
and yeah I'm lynching him even though he has a hard-on for larry david (tough to convict a man for this) |

I agree that Spenda's silence is surprising but if he were a wolf that would be a pretty basic mistake to make.
On the other hand if he isn't going to post at all then lynching him is ok anyway. If he hasn't posted by morning I say we string him up. |

Lynch Spenda
He has 7 right now. 5 more till lynch. Really would like for him to weigh in before the lynch, but I'm heading to bed soon.
@JKDS: I wasn't disgusted at all with the SDM lynch. My reasoning (annoyance) was the same as 90% of the other votes sent his way. And it would be foolish to believe that he was lynched for any other reason. |

I guess it's just a response to my annoyance of all the "should we out them or not?" posts. I kind of just wanna play werewolf without having to go through a bunch of math posts and logic of whether or not we should out our specialty players. Let's not find a loophole in the game to win...let's just play and win imo.
And Stacks isn't really suspicious with his "SDM probably isn't a zombie...but he's annoying" lynch. Everybody lynched SDM knowing he probably wasn't a zombie...but he WAS getting pretty damn annoying. Stacks' logic matched everyone elses. |

| And there's probably an explanation for Spenda's non-posting (I have a feeling he's probably just as annoyed with the game flow as I am tbh). However, in an effort to get him to post, lynch Suspenders. |

i like this new philosophy!
lynch possible wolves, if they turn out not to be a wolf---they would be a kick ass medium(like sdm).
for right now i'm going to stick with spenda
stack is a good fit but i think TLR would be better |

If he is a villager he will be mod killed pretty soon by Trips, so we lose a villager
If he is a wolf, there is no way to know whether he is participating or not (he may be active in the wolves discussions)
I still think we need to lynch him |

rescind spenda
lynch stax
Just trying to buy spenda more time to figure out if he's gonna post in this thread. Has anyone tried to remind him to pop in? He's more likely a villager and unaware of the game then a werewolf purposefully staring us down, daring us to lynch him. |
