Two JJ hands.

I guessed in hand one that i was ahead, and that he had a pp lower than my Jacks thats why i pushed. (his was a mad call i'm not sure what you'll think about my play) Is this an example of where my push just encouraged him to call (i'd already taken two small buy-ins off this guy so maybe he was just pissed?)

The second hand i knew this guy would not fold what was probably a pair of aces by the turn even though i raised the pot with a genuine hand. Without the one colour flop i would have attacked with pot bets (as above)to persuade him my ace with kicker (that was really non-existant) was better than his own. I could have risked a push but i may have misread him and he had KQ diamonds or something similar.
Anybody any comments? This is why i play JJ aggresivly post flop dispite overcards. i'd play AQ/AK similarily post flop after a raise hoping that no matter what i held the opp would be guessing at best.

At these limits do they even know about kickers? Nice read on the first hand, was it his style to minraise a low/medium pr? The second hand I would have folded on the turn bet. I put him on A8 or A9 with perhaps 8d or 9d.

My br sucks still so trying to build it up more so i can play safe.
Yeah they ALL miniraise pps to pot build for a set.
Yeah they dont know about kickers.
Everyone calls with Ax in a raised pot which is why i pot bet the flop unless its paired (and i dont have it) They cant read me, i know that. so if they call they are drawing or im beat. Playing position gives me such an advantage against these muppets its unreal. The pain is i KEEP MAKING STUPID CALLS WHEN I KNOW IM BEAT.

when i kick that habit with discipline im readyto give the higher levels a real shot. Until then...br building.
