Villan is 31/22/10 f to 3-bet of 55 (though i only know this after checking PT). He's run good vs me up till now in the 5/10 games when i play them and i don't know if he's good or spewy.
I think i like c/raising the turn here because I feel like all the times he's turned top pair (all his KJ/QJ/J8 hands) are going to bet quite a bit (for value and to protect) and he's folding a 9 to a turn bet or shove a lot anyway.
Boss Media (IPN) No-Limit Hold'em, €10.00 BB (5 handed) - BossMedia Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
BB (€970)
UTG (€1295.75)
Hero (SB) (€1142)
MP (€737.75)
Button (€2736.50)
Preflop: Hero is SB with Q , Q
2 folds, Button bets €30, Hero raises to €110, 1 fold, Button calls €110
Flop: (€230) 9 , 10 , 10 (2 players)
Hero bets €160, Button calls €160
Turn: (€550) J (2 players)
Hero checks?
This hand is literally 2 hands later i think. Obviously I stacked him in the previous hand which affects this dynamic. I feel like there isn't much value raising the turn here, so I lean towards calling (if he has a worse 10 i am going to get a lot of value on the river anyway whereas by calling i can pick off his air kj/ak/aj type hands and he can even try to bluff catch with like KK or something on the river). What say you to turn action and then what do you guys do to these two scenarios on the river given that the river is a blank (non broadway non club non pairing card) : 1. if he shoves which is just a bit bigger than pot and 2. if he checks to you - shove? small bet? Does anyone ever check behind given that my hand looks like a missed draw and he could be tarping?

Hand 1
-I would bet biggish on turn, cause it looks like a spot that you might semibluff a lot of hands (AK, AQ, spades) so he might call light/jam light
-he also wouldn't expect you to bet that strong/big with a turned KQ necessarily, so he might discount very strong hands if you bet like 450ish
-if stacks were 100bbs I'd just jam
Hand 2
-if you stacked him the first hand then I'd say he's less likely to get it in light/make a move, and probably more likely to shutdown and give up if he didn't have anything
-I'd just 3bet him here to 610ish, the board is pretty drawy too. A call can never be that bad though |

in hand 1 I like a committing bet to look like AKss or AQss (close to full pot) or CRAI. It s pretty close.
Another possibility is check-call a small bet and let him shove most rivers and snap him off...
hand 2
If we were 100bb s deep :
I love flatting the CR an calling any river shove. The only worrisome card is a club and I expect your hand will look weak if you flat the turn and he ll bluffshove some % of the time. Problem with shoving here or 3 betting (turn) is that you fold him out soooo often with such a strong hand. yayaya there are tonnes of draws, but they only have about 20-25% equity anyways at this point...
But, we re pretty deep so I think you have to 3 bet the turn to about 900 and make him draw for a pretty bad price. |

1) I'd just go with my standard 220$ ish bet and shove river. Sure close to pot looks drawier but he won't have any perceived FE even if we're technically never pure bluffing this turn that often.
2) I wouldn't 3bet the turn with anything. Just call/call, let him bluff. |

1) I like betting the turn as well since its a card your going to be perceived to continue on a lot. As all your air improved equity and it could have improved some of his floats.
2) I agree with alex on not 3 betting I'd go call call as well on the majority of rivers. |
