So. I have a very bad track record with keeping operations going. So hopefully I can change that. I got an email from Ultimate Bet yesterday saying that they put $10 in my account for no reason. Cool. I had never deposited there because I just haden't. My goal is to build up that $10 into an actual roll to use at Ultimate Bet. I wasn't planning on ever using that account, but I have Rakeback, so maybe I'll start. My plan is to play primarily SnG's. UB has a $0.50 10 player SnG which I will start with.
I'll post updates every once and a while and post hands/whole tournies in which I need advice.

Wish me luck.

Ah, it's been a while. We moved last Saturday so I just hooked up my computer now. Busy week...

I played 1 tourney last week, but had to leave half way through for an unexpected event. So obviously I didn't make it ITM. I still have $9.45 in free monies and after over a week of not playing poker at all, I'm ready to get back in the game. I'll post in a little bit with some results.

I'm pleased that I have a very high ITM % right now. I've only placed higher than 3rd twice, one of which I had to quite half-way through.

The going has been pretty slow for me. I'm working full time right now and just busy with a lot of other things, so I haven't been playing as well as I want.

Here are my stats since I started this operation.

So. 50 Sng's down and still going strong. I have a break even streatch for like 25 games, so my ROI% and ITM% are a little lower than what I would have hoped for with $0.50 games, but oh well. When I reach $30, I'm going to move to $1.00 SnG's, then when I get to $60, I'm going to move up to 2nl. My account has RB so that should be a nice boost.

So I got really tired of SnG's and got me feet wet at 2nl a little this past week.

There is only a few tables of 2nl on UB, so I either played 1 or 2 tables, depending on the quality of the tables. I only got 480 hands in, but I did ok. Its not a big enough sample size to get a good feel for how I can handle cash games (I haven't seriously played cash games before). Here's my stats

Hands: 480
VPiP: 13.13%
PF Raise: 8%
Amount Won: $3.15
BB/100: 16.41

In Poker Tracker, how does it calculate the last one? I'm not very familiar with the difference between BB/100 and ptBB/100 so if someone could explain that, that would be great.

I placed 19/3500 in a freeroll on Bodog and got $3.50 out of it, so I started playing the $2.20 Beginner SnG's there. The top 5 places get paid, so that's good for such a ridiculously small roll. I'm at about $7 after 8 of these. They aren't especially profitable, but there's VERY little variance, theorectically at least.

After I get a little more free time I'm going to go back to UB and dabble around in 2nl some more. I have about $100 on TF right now, but thats no where near enough for their lowest cash game, 10nl, and Im just completely fed up with their SnG's at the moment. Just a lot of bad runs lately. So I think for now I'm going to stick to UB and Bodog, where I haven't even deposited anything, but still am doing better than I was at FT. once I get over 1k or 2k hands at 2nl I'll post my stats and graph from Poker Tracker and see if anyone can give me some pointers.
