I agree in principle, but I don't think it would have mattered if he pushed all-in on the flop. At 5nl, I'm not sure villain folds trips, not even on this flop. |

| it's not that unusual to lose with the nut flush to the board pairing. another reason not to slowplay is another club on the turn or river is going to kill your action. |

| For THIS particular hand, villain and hero probably felt it regardless. Although, I am not a fan of slow-playing monsters in general and especially the micros. It's not really THAT bad of a beat. Any 8 (3 of them), any 5 (3 of them) and the case 4 (1) have you beat by the turn (7 outs) and then he picks up 3 more outs with the remaining tens for 10 outs by the river. But, yes it IS a bad beat and it certainly sucks when the board pairs on your nut flush. It was VERY unlikely he'd get the case 4, but 9 other cards had you beat, too. |
