Did anyone watch ESPN 2 last night. They had the final table of some poker championship game. I saw God himself smite D'Agustino.

D'Agustino came into the table with more than twice the chips of the second person. He had 1.5 mil and a commanding chip lead. Then he took a tumble. Seemed like he started slipping and couldn't pull out a good hand. Then the table folded around to Hoyt Corkins, and Hoyt went all in from the SB with 87o. Trying to steal the BB from D'Agustino. D'Agustino calls with TT and is confident.

Then the turn gives Corkins a quad 7s and D'Agusinto is left with 1 chip.

He's forced all in on the next hand, where he is delt KK. 2 people get into a raising battle with QQ and JJ.

The flop comes QJ8!

Now I realize that the only way this happens is when someone provides an "unclean" sacrafice to the poker Gods. But why would D'Agustino want to make his sacrafice unclean?

Ya he got messed up badly in the end of that tournament, but he needs more control i think. When he knocked the chips all over the table, that was just an asshat thing to do regardless of if you took a bad beat.
