I hate the preflop call. If there were ever a spot where AK reraise was standard, this is that spot. Postflop plays completely differently then.
As played, this seems like an ok line. Seeing as he just called behind pf, plausible hands against an unknown are hands like QJ, A2-ATs. AQ seems very unlikely unless he's a fool, and his postflop action doesn't fit AQ. A lot of hands that you beat look you up on the river (namely, all the aces). This could be a very passively and lamely played 33, but I think we have to pay that off. Against a nit I might make a smaller blocking bet on the river.

no, the only very standard time to reraise AK is when there are lots of callers before you. calling when theres a good chance it will be headsup is fine. |

| With five people left to act, the chances for a HU pot aren't in any way good. |

PF is fine, its good to occasionally mix it up esp. if you are often playing with same opponents.
This is not a standard line to me and at first I thought the river bet was kinda weird but now I am starting to like it. The only problem with really good aggros is that they might just shove it as a bluff. You are intending to fold to a RR arent you? |
