How do these work?
http://www.cardroomsupply.com/plcuphosmsun.html
I was looking at pictures of hold 'em tables, and I can't envision how these cup holders could be slid under an armrest in such a way that it would support the weight of a beverage.
Anyone use these? |

| Looks like it goes in the pre-fabricated holes in the upholstered cushions around the outer edge of the table. |

| In pics I've seen of tables I've never noticed any pre-fabricated holes in the cushion? Can you link to a pic? |

If I allowed drinks to be set on my table top (which I don't), these would help prevent a drink from getting spilled.
The cup holder part that holds the drink is supported by the table top (right next to your chips). the lip would slide under the arm rest (toward you). The lip just basically prevents the drink from tipping over. |

| These cupholders work fine, they use them at casinos, so they should work fine for a home game. |

I actually saw a drunk guy take his beer, pour it into one of the aforementioned cupholders and drink it. It was really gross.
If you ever look in the bottom of one of these cupholders in a casino, they collect really nasty looking goo buildup after a few weeks of service. The casinos need to wash them more often. |

| heh, tell me about it, I work at a Casino, they're nasty, I believe we replace them quite frequently, or at least the grungy ones. I've never seen anything as crazy as someone drink out of one of them, that has serious illness written all over it. |

| the best is when some moron uses it as an ashtray and when he stubs it out in the bottom, a little piece melts to the table. my best friend is a cocktail server at a casino and had this happen just the other night. the pit boss was not please with the man, but they let him keep playing, gotta keep that money rollin in. |
