| I had a large chip lead HU today but ran into a couple of good hands. Ah well. Congrats to ... (I can't remember the name of the winner and I'm at a different computer right now). |

I was BB with $400 in and a lot of chips in my stack and Bersmikey raised only to $1200. I had 10 8o and decided it was worth another $800 to see if I flopped anything which I did with another 10 8. Our chips went all in and I think I could hear him groan from across the country when he saw my 2P and he turned over his AA.
BYW, Grimedizzle, congrats on winning. I wish I had picked up one good hand in our HU but most were playable - just not as good as yours. You played a good game. |

thanks man. I thought with your preflop raise on that last hand my qjo may have been dominated even after the flop showed a jack, but there was no way they all werent going in the middle, anyways gg and hopefully ill see ya at the next FT. |

mate, groaning ain't the word! If my baby wasn't asleep in the next room i think i would have burst my vocal cords! ha ha
Not so much cos i lost on AA, but cos i played it so poorly.
As you say, i only min raised really against a larger stack, and i know full well if i would have pushed it harder sooner I would have still been in.
Especially as Warpe was all but dead!
Proper gutted. |

ha ha i know mate i know, im not saying anything against you, i mean you got to the final table and all that, im just saying it was stupid of me to get into it with the chip leader when i was so close to the money, AND it was after the flop and i still only had AA, i could have been beat at that point by so many hands that i should never have gone AI once the flop came.
Anyway, lesson learnt, i WILL be back! |
