| so i have been thinking of switching to Full Tilt for quite a while to get Rack back instead of the fpp thing, also cause FTP is weaker. i looked at all my hands through january, and i got $4335 raked from me from a mix of 100nl and 200nl over 60k hands. this evens out to like $1150 in rb. now im not supernova yet, but at this rate i should get it before may. in any case. if i play 60k hands a month, at these stakes i think it evens out to about .5 base fpps per hand. so we earn 30k base fpps. supernova Bonus gives you 250% Bonus. so 30k x 3.5= 105,000 fpps, which buys us a supernova Bonus of $1500. at platinum its 30k x 2.5 = 75,000 fpps, and its almost the same as rb. are these calculations right? did i mess up anywhere or forgetting anything? |

I need a break from studying so I'll do a calculation for 100nl FR and 200nl FR based off of my play in December and January respectively.
It takes 28571.5 VPPs to make 100000 FPPs at Supernova, so each VPP is worth $0.0525.
100nl FR - 62250 hands, 22783 VPPs, $3389.53 MGR, $2652.60 contributed rake, $1196.11 effective Rakeback, 35.29% of MGR, 45.09% of contributed rake
200nl FR - 70562 hands, 30400 VPPs, $5154.88 MGR, $3943.95 contributed rake, $1596.00 effective Rakeback, 30.96% of MGR, 40.47% of contributed rake
But to answer your question -- yeah, it is basically Rakeback. |

| well i know it is Rake Back, just in a different form, my question is is PokerStars fpp program better than FTP's rb program, assuming you spend your fpps on the 100k supernova Bonus. but me and massimo came to the conclusion that stars is actually better, because not only do you get these Bonus', you also can get milestone Bonus', and those are sick. plus, you get weekly freerolls, which i just get my friends who dont really have br's play and split profits. |

It's definitely better than Full Tilt's Rakeback. |

Wow you trust your friends. I would like to do this, but giving somebody access to my password & bankroll is a little too risky for this nit. |

| They're about the same. But I would rather take a little less to play on Stars. |

| Star's program is better than Full Tilt assuming that you play enough volume to reach Supernova. If you don't, then Full Tilt is better. |
