16 left in $21,000 Guarantee on FT.
Usually I give this type of raise very little credit but villain had shown KK before with a 5xBB raise. If he had raised 2.5x I'd three-bet here but I can't really do that without shoving.
Normally I'd shove here 100% of the time OOP but I was wondering if anyone likes a call since I'm on the button.

all in
I'm not sure position helps - if he has the hands you want him to have then flop may either kill your action or even worse make you fold the best hand. Not just PPs - if he has KJ it's more likely an A will flop and you'll give up. If he has AT, he may not give any more action on a rag board since your cold call is going to look like a PP. |

cool, I pushed it in.
The reason I was wondering about cold calling is I can get away from it if overcards come but your point is great -- I don't want HIM getting away from it. |

| My mindset here is always to try to take a monster chip stack to the FT or bust out trying. |

this is a pretty standard shove, baudib. you knowwww this. shoving > calling here all the way.
Also, calling to get away from overcards is an awful, awful mindset with your stack. you have QQ. you have <20 bbs. go all in. ez game. |

I know. I've been having a running conversation with a pro who says he likes to flat call in position or min 3-bet and fold to a shove with QQ or AK in spots like this.
I think villain has 99-JJ here much more often than KK-AA/AK. |

| min bet folding over half his stack is so terrible I'll assume he's a pro because he got fired at the gas station . You'd almost have direct odds to try and run down a bigger pair there and his range is more than KK+. I would suggest running FROM these conversations instead. |

| I got it in as a 57-43 favorite so I'm happy about it. |

| I don't think I've ever flat-called 1/4 of my stack with any hand other than when slowplaying AA. |
