this morning i just had enough and wrote them a hate message.
Hi, I have been using your product for about 4 months and hate it. This is probably the worst piece of crap software I have ever purchased, and I think that unless you don't do something fast, everyone will start buying Hold 'em Manager, because it doesnt crash every hour like PokerTracker3. So, when are you guys going to hire competent programmers that know what they are doing?
If nothing is done about this epic failure of a tracking system I am going to start a thread in every major forum warning everyone about how terrible a product this is and to buy Hold 'em Manager.

| I bought PT3 months ago. I hated it and stuck with PT2/pahud. I'm currently using HEM on the free trial and it's 1000000000 times better, give or take. I will purchase HEM when my trial is over at the cost of $56 with the Deuces Cracked promotion. Compare that to PT3 which cost $90 and is an epic fail as you put it. |

Sorry, but I'm one of the fairly lucky people with few to no problems with PT3. One of the few. |

| however, they CLAIM to have fixed the HUD crashes in the upcoming version, and CLAIM it to run with less space/faster. so im going to give them one more chance, and if it still fucking sucks im going to send them the nastiest email of their lives. take that fwiw, because they havent replied to this one and its been about 12 hours. |

i must be one of the lucky ones also. ive been using PT3 for about the same time (~4months) and its crashed a total of 3 times that i remember, and all of them were after i had datamined FTP for 7 or 8 hours then tried to set a new filter. i've played 6 to 8 tables consistantly and have had no problems with HUD disapearing after one of the updates that addressed that issue. |

yep, like badgers said - it struggles with multitabling. If I count the hours i have spent submitting bugs and log files, reformatting and re-installing databases and the application and then add that to the cost of the hands i've crashed out of - then it comes close to 10% of my roll. And if i add in the subtle cost of software induced tilt...
i'm giving it one last chance once i start playing again in september... |

it crashed on me a ton and I never do more than 8 and usually less, but it had to load new tables more often since I was playing 45 man donkaments, that was usually when it would crash.
HEM crashes sometimes for me too, but nothing like PT3 |

PT3 crashes for me maybe every other session? Maybe 1 in 3 sessions? Anywhere from 8-15 tabling.
I used to have PAHud crash on me more than that... |

Ive bought HEM - great analysis etc but not so impressed 'yet' (its like missing 70k hands from my pt2 database)
Plus it has so many import errors on a daily basis which is a pain in the ass, but w/e im sure that will get fixed.
PT3 could be the better product IMO, but its got a long way to go yet |
