Hey all,
As most people here know, playing for free online is just about worthless since nothing is really on the line and people will call with just about anything. I'm trying to up my skills for little cost and went to a free Amatuer poker league tourney tonight. I was happy with my performance, I was in the top 25% of about 80 people and my KQ lost to an A that paired on the flop, so I don't think I went out because of a bad play, it just wasn't my hand.
Anybody else go to APL games to work on their game or is it mostly online at micro/small stakes games online?
