i'm not sure about you guys, but being all-in preflop scares the crap outta me. Even with AA, this time it paid off for me.
Just wanted to share a successful hand instead of complaining.

You have to play it like that with significant money on the table. You have a BIG time best hand pre-flop but EVERYTHING changes after the flop.
Lol, I have lost with my last 2 rockets. First one went down all-in pre-flop against Ace-Queen and Ace-Rag offsuit! Both made flushes. Second one went down to an over-the-top all-in flop bet on a flush draw. He made it on the turn (suck.) It's beats like that which help me deal with my stagnant bankroll over the last few days.
edit: However unless the table was mad $5 pre-flop was a bit much... I like $3 pre-flop raises as it is just enough to protect a $25 stack against sets. |

I thought the $5 may have been a bit much.
Just about 5-6 hands prior to that I lost KK because I had too many callers on my $3 preflop raise. $3 was pulling in like 3-4 limpers that had flush/straight draws.
Guess I was a bit scared |

| Yeah it scares me too. It shouldn't but it does. Probably because last time I went in big with AA this retard called with 88 and hit trips and took my whole stack. Well that was actually 2 AAs ago. The last time I got it this dude went in 4 bucks and I raised him all in like 25 and he waited till 1 second and folded. I was actually glad for some strange reason because I just liked getting the 4 without risking being outdrawn. |
