Haha, that first guy really shot himself in the ass by not reraising you ... well ... ever. But at least reraise big on the turn, if not the flop.
As for the second hand ... you're a maniac, Ripp. You had to think it was kind of likely that they had an A or a K with that preflop raise they made. |

Of course you do. Because you're a maniac. |

Disagree, perfect play.
1800 chips in the pot, the other player has less than 1500 left. He flopped a flush draw and a gutshot. Folding would be a disaster. By forcing an all-in he gets QQ/JJ/TT or perhaps Kx to fold often enough to pick up considerable value. Otherwise, he gets his draw or runner runner often enough to make this nearly a coin flip if called. |

Agreed, rippy should be tarred, feathered, and banished from poker forever!.
Once again, rippy has shown a blatant disregard for the conventions that make civilized society possible. He is a danger to himself and others, and I will not rest until I have him deported to a non-poker playing country! |
let's see, hmmm, piss off fnord and rippy in one shot, those aren't bad odds!
rippy - you've been revised! |

Hahaha. I was just about to post "Whoops, I thought he only had one heart."
Since he did in fact just have one, I stand by calling him a maniac. |

It's really funny that I think Fnord and Rippy are the 2 best poker players here for 2 totally different reasons.
Fnord plays well, gets good pot odds, and always justifies every move he makes.
Rippy always plays loose, aggressive, he's a total maniac in the best wayt possible and he plays it to perfection.
Both are great, and if they played a head-to-head, the universe will implode. |

I disagree. I'm not one of the 2 best players on the site, even before a certain celebrity joined and I honestly don't know where Rippy stacks up (but I admire his intimidation game.) But thanks for the vote of confidence.
It's easy to look at a post and figure things out with no time constraints or money on the line. It's another thing entirely to have the discipline to do that for every hand durring game-time.

Damn-it. How many blinds must I steal and times must I go all-in with second pair or Ace-rag to fix this impression? |
