MTT on Empire yesterday and it's down to about 40 or so left. Two similar sized stacks get into a pre flop raising battle and eventually they both end up all in. The cards flip over and they both have pocket aces (odds on that has to be pretty good?) So i'm waiting for the split pot and then the guy with the ace of spades hits four spades in the community cards and makes a flush.
Not in the same league but a while later i was getting a little low on chips and checked in from the BB with 85 and the flop hit 554 rainbow; everyone checks round to me so i go all in with the set to be called by the guy who limped in UTG +1 with 54  |
