So I resently bought PT3, and in the stats it says that I overall lost about $400 on paired hands.
I have played 25nl, 10nl and now mostly 5nl.
My guess is that its not normal but just a big leak. I already looked over some hands and it seems i sometimes loose big with TPTK witch I raised preflop.
This is over 8K hands only btw.
So is it realy a leak or is everbody loosing money with pairs in the longterm?

... Do you mean that you are losing with Pocket Pairs or with your final hand being a pair?

Yeah, very normal.

Dont forget, it doesnt just count hands you showdown in the tally, but all hands your holecards did/would have paired.

You have to be careful with just a pair. TPTK is a strong hand but it's vulnerable. Try not to play big pot poker with paired up flops... but obviously it doesn't work out at times and you end up losing money in the long run.

You should be losing when your final hand was 1 pair. Consider you have 72 and the board comes AKQJ2. Your final hand was 1 pair.

Yeah that's normal dude, I've never seen anyone with PT stats showing high card/one pair as a winner. For the reasons mentioned above.

If your three of a kind is a loser you might wanna look into that...

noobie 2cents....

1) 8K hands for this kind of stat is meaningless -- and could be harmful if you get twisted and change your play jus cause you think it's relevant. But I get the sense you already vibe this...
2) Take a closer look at the TPTK hands where you lost big. When in the hand did you lose? When did you get the money in? What I mean is... a) you put a 30bb shortie all in on the flop w/ AQ on a Q83 board, and he shows KJ to win on a rivered king or b) you play 100bb deep by betting all 3 streets OOP into a calling station w/ AK on a KQT78 monochrome not-your-suit board and lose to a flopped straight or flush. One is money-in-good, the other is donkalicious. But they both show up as losses.
3) And yeah... take a look at exactly what stat your looking at. If you filter by "WTSD" you'll iso only the hands you stayed in (checking, calling, betting...) w/ TPTK and that sh!ts behavioral... if you don't do that, you got spoonie's point that you could be looking at sh!t you folded and would have spiked 1 pair by the river, which is meaningless.

8k is not a big enough sample size to tell anything. Ive had 50k breakeven stretches in my database which currently has close to 1million hands in it.
