Opp's stats were 24/21 at this point. Obviously if I shove over and he calls I'm not in good shape since I'm either flipping or dominated, but considering stack sizes I should have enough FE here, shouldn't I?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

SB (t3010)
Hero (t2210)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4, 4.
2 folds, SB raises to t600, Hero raises to t2210

I fold because I would have expected him to move in with any non monster.

But it's obv a level hand, if you think he understands the bubble he's maybe doing this with ATC figuring you will only shove 5% or whatever and you will never move in as a bluff so 3x is the cheaper option. But every time I start making plays thinking people 'get' the bubble I get calls from KQ and I stop again.

This may be a bit intangible, but I would wonder if there is a psychological element here vs a random player.

Do we have less fold equity when a fold by SB makes him the short stack on the bubble, even though he probably shouldn't be worrying about that here?

From my experiences, people don't fold these spots very often whether they should or not.
