Basically, the two raises - I have a lot of outs, so I figure I should pressure the player(s) to try and take down the pot.

Thoughts?

i think you are dead to trips here. the smooth call on the flop is a nasty move because he knows ur out of position and ull have to bet in order to protect your hand on the turn. the double suited nature of the turn and board makes this shut out bet even more likely that this person has a better hand than u. imo.

i think i prefer a check on the turn (calling a reasonable bet). yea we have a lot of outs, but if he has a KQ type hand, which would almost always at least call your bet, you are still behind equity wise. if you check and he bets you will have express pot odds to call and probably be able to get a bet out of him on the river if you hit. what would be your plan on the river if he calls your turn bet and you miss?

as played i think i cry and then call. shove river if you improve at all. c/f otherwise. you have no fold equity once he puts in such a big raise and i can't see him doing this with just a bare flush draw so there is no reason to get knocked out when you miss.

The bet on the flop was oke I think. You want to get other draws out of the hand. IMO only make those moves when you have a solid read on the table.

The reason why i'm not to happy bout the move on the flop is simply that you are in no need to make moves like this. But hey what can i say, i'm tight.

The turn bet was way wrong. Like you say, i got a lot of outs. So why raise with the risk of a re-raise when you can maybe draw for free? Cause even when he bets into you on the turn, he might give you a good price and otherwise you can always reevaluate the situation. A fold in that case would have cost you only 160 more chips (like you give a damn bout that).

Now you have to fold and it cost you wayyyyyy more. Cause i think you need to fold here, you have no fold equity anymore.

Another thing, your bettingline kinda smells like a dark tunnel bluff. This is why: On the flop with a flush draw you bet 1/2 pot (to little to get any serious flushdraw out of there, specially with these blinds/stacks), all in the sudden, when you get only 1 caller, you fire a pot sized bet at turn (?????) Not only does this look weird, it also cost you way to much money. Oke so you can say i made it the pot cause there is a double suit on the board. But hellooooh, you didnt give him the price on the flop to let him get runner runner "against" you. So 2/3 of the pot would have been more then enough IMO.

I like to come over the top sometimes (with nothing) with a betting line like that, specially when I got a decent read. And even more so when i have the stack to back it up (like you oponent has in this case).
