Im thinking about getting a studio in the next month and a half. Online poker is my only form of income and has been for a couple years now. Has anyone had any experience dealing with this??
Id rather not have to go to the folks to get a cosigner or something. Help me out please. |

No experience, but I'd have thought your best bet would be either bank statements showing deposits, or tax returns (if you've been declaring it as income).

Just offer to pay a large amount up front, thats what i did to get a good loan on a house. Otherwise they dont take you very serious.

According to a report in Forbes, The American Gaming Association, the trade group, a major land-based casinos throughout the country, spent $ 800000 in the first quarter of 2008 to lobby Congress on Internet gambling legislation and other issues.

LOL @ Carl.
To the OP: Just send the place last years tax return. I'm moving too and they wanted proof of income, that and a credit check.

Well, it depends, is it legal income or illegal income is the first question you have to ask yourself. Are you in the U.S. and if so are you in one of the 13 states it's illegal in. If not in the U.S. is it legal to play in your country. These are good questions to ask yourself because obviously you never have before, because you haven't paid a lick of taxes on the money. First off to prove income, it has to be taxed, so you might want to take a chunk of that bankroll to a CPA and get that figured out first. Then you can take your tax papers and use them as proof of income and they will file it as self employed. hopefully this helps.
