I know calling a raise in limit with ATo is like hanging your junk in a meatgrinder.

But I watched Sauce do it in one of his videos.... The part I forgot was that he was pretty sure he was going to end up HU, while I clicked call before that part occured to me.

Is this a spot where I could raise to attempt to isolate?

All of the players are really tight passive at the table.

Standard, not sure if that's the sort of hand I like to run that line with.

I would bet this button quite often as a bluff too.

post-flop.

Pre-flop is probably a mistake but whatever. I'm already a pre-flop police fugitive.

yea i would just fold it pf. AT is a hand thats reverse dominated. eg: you will hit your ace sometimes but be dominated by villain's kicker. This makes it extremely hard to play because its going to be tough to recognize these spots. You will wind up getting bluffed off the best hand because of your fear of this at times, and you will wind up getting stacked when he has a better ace.

or you could resist building a big pot with a vulnerable hand and work on not getting stacked with TP/WK.

Wait, so you're arguing here that a call with ATo is ok here as long as you exercise pot control if you catch a T or an A?

Preflop is a mistake at 10nl imo.

Postflop is standard.

I wouldn't worry about the stakes as much as the tendencies of any raisers and callers. If you know the raiser is tight/passive, making that call is probably a minor mistake. I say minor because it's really mitigated if
- you have much bluffing equity, or
- you have much value equity from him when you have him beat (e.g. he has a big pocket pair and you spike an ace, and he just calls your value bets)

Where you get into trouble is when he has a bigger ace and you both hit, but since he's a weak player who won't exploit you the way he should, even that isn't a super big concern. And since you have position and he's bad, you're going to be able to play this hand as if his cards were showing a lot.

Personally - I'd only call against this guy with AJ suited or AQo, but I doubt that calling with AT is a serious leak. As long as you don't go hogwild every time an ace flops.
