I just got hit by an asian girl! I love asian girls (don't be creeped out, courtie)...and yeah I didn't say "hit on" but just hit as in she flew through a red light and crushed me and my car. Let's just say I have her digits now
and plus 1 buyin in very minimal hands...SHIP
just played some dude HU for rollz (long story) he had only $20 but I won ld0 ship. Lost in a $11 180 man in like 35th place...it's so sick because I got bad beat (AM NOT COMPLAINING) so much and still had a shot until I misclicked .
news on that asian girl that hit me. I was looking at a friend's facebook profile and BAM she is in 1 of his 6 total pics...wtf? I go to it and she obv. is engaged
I use too many emoticons.. |

def. staying in school...my post may not make sense but it's all good.
i need to play hands so my new operation will be strictly about playing hands which meansssss i think i am going to pick a microstakes guy and give him like $50-100 each month or goal or day or week or whatever if i don't make the amount of hands. Actually going to adjust my play a little for like 10k hands and see if that works, if it does then gg the operation is definitely on.
ok so here goes, my first real step is over. I was staked by a very generous friend, Alexos. He is the only reason I am playing right now...so THANK YOU ALEXOS. I can finally pay him what I "owe" him but in reality I owe a lot more for giving me the ability to play. The reason I couldn't play was said in my old operation thread. Had to do with parents. Anyways, just recently my parents have supported me playing which means a lot. Well, they seem really pissed still, at least my mom.
Quick update one me. Still only rolled for 100nl, but that's cool...not to sound gay I always dreamed of being at 100nl. That said, it can be a little frustrating seeing friends who were at my level being rolled for like 600nl+. I am definitely glad for them and know they deserve it. I just don't put in the hands enough and it's horrible. I kind of a busy lifestyle (no work though for now) with my friends and stuff and I try to keep poker private from most of them for personal reasons so it can be tough AT TIMES to play. Still no excuse.
I am a member at grinderschool, deucescracked, leggopoker and def. enjoy all sites. I think I spend way too much time just watching then playing. I am also getting coached, primarily from Terp at DC/2+2. I really enjoy his game a lot and it's been very helpful lately. I got a 2 hour lesson from another guy as well but just for HU. That was pretty interesting too, but I think I may stay at 6max for the time being. Some friends are doing really well at fullring so that is tempting as well. Also those $12 180 mans are realllllly soft and I do pretty well and bust to suckouts so that is frustrating...but I run too good in Gauntlets so it evens out I guess.
Quick shoutout to everyone who has been very very helpful with talking/helping me out with the game. I can't name them all or someone will feel left out, but I wouldn't mean it, just so many to name. It's 1:30am so my grammar sucks.
I also want to make this thread either have much more content or just kind end it. Maybe I'll write like EVERYTHING on my mind in here. Don't know yet. |

| Alright. I am going to play 10k hands trying a new "style". By style I mean playing better poker. I will try to post EVERY DAY I play (so hopefully most days) with pics of my daily stats. I'm also going to try posting some interesting hands. So after my 10k hands, if it I feel comfortable with how I have been playing, I will start making goals that have to be met or I will ship someone free monies yay!! |

Ok, a bit lazy now. Also, HUGE test on Wed. (gg summer school) so not sure how much I SHOULD play the next few days. Anyways, played 1,066 hands with a $279.00 profit. Meh, I will take it but down on Sklanksky bucks ...damn two outters. Anyways, some guy was giving away his money so he raised every hand and shipped it in when I had KK vs. his J9o. I won, so yay. Started down $200 really quickly (was very rusty) then finally got it back together. So basically like a $500 upswing I guess. Hit a few sets for the time in ages so that was nice. Never sucked out once all-in, so that was nice as well. My non-showdown pots were helping me stay afloat in the beginning which is a big change but then I started finally getting my hands. Good day overall. |

Ok sorry for the premature posting. Went up $300 really really early, like 200 hands in or so. Kept that pace for awhile then found someone with 25% 3bet stats! What a jerk! Right? Well I ended up *calling* an allin with A3s. So dumb, but I really thought this 5bet push was like Kx or worse and he sucked. He had TT. Not fun when I hit my flush on turn and he hits his FH on river...which is totally irrevalent. Then a few hands later I find myself with A7s on button, he 3bets I just ship (go tilt go!) and he calls with AK. A on flop and I don't improve. Then I get AdKd (my image is blown at this point, running in the mid 30s vpip) and I see a 60bb stack. I raise, he 3bets, some dude flats and I made it somewhat smallish to go knowing I have to ship it in on most flops anyways. Flop comes 9d4d2c. SHIP! Easy open shove and easy call for him when he flips 44 over. Damn, he called over half his stack with 44 and was probably folding most flops.
So down about $300 just at that table and overall was up like $88. I started getting huge preflop cards on that table and got ZERO action from then on...wtf? On another table I had 66 in the sb, limped in as did UTG. BB raises to 4xbb with stats of 30/1/1. SWEET LET'S HIT A SET. Flop comes...246r...SWEET. I check, he bets, UTG folds, I smooth call. Turn 7. I check he bets I RR small to basically get our stacks in. He ships the rest with 77! Dammit! Just kidding, he had KK and I hold.
So today's total after 951 hands:
$173.75
Tomorrow I have the day "off." But really I have to study for a HUGE test. Going to maybe play but I hope I have the discipline to wait until Wed. night to play. Things are going pretty well poker wise and I feel more comfortable. I have also noticed some big mistakes on a few hands today that will be fixed in the future. That's always the good part about making mistakes. Just don't do it again. |

| I played really really poorly today and ran super hot getting the money in bad. Still only up $23. Only played a few hundred hands due to me studying. I should be studying right now. I have come to the conclusion that I spend way too much time online. This is seriously going to have to stop. This will be part of my new goal as well. Not sure how to stop this cold turkey though. This doesn't mean that I won't play many hands though. Poker on the internet is good, other shit needs to go and go fast. |

| Ok ok so variance makes things even. Been having some bad luck getting KK preflop, same table, in consecutive hands and losing my stack vs. QQ on the first one (it was actually a 3way between a 100bb stack and a 30bb stack who had the AA and Q spiked a set so I lost a huge sidepot). Then next hand I am vs. a 40bb stack. 89x board I 3bet him pre and open shove flop...he flips 88 gg. Well...actually I spiked a K on river (woops, guess I am actually still running goot). Anyways, I am getting off of the computer now and will play more tonight including the gauntlet. |

Maybe not play so much while studying?
Definately hear you on the "less other time online". Made a similar comment in my own blog a while back but havnt done much about it. Really, hitting the forums once per day should be enough. You can then maybe watch a video, and get a 1-2 hr session in and only have spent sort of 3-4 hrs on the computer. |

Yeah def agree with everything you said. Just finished 3rd in the Gauntlet. I am in a rough spot as I switched over to FullTilt from Stars awhile ago and left just a little bit of monies for the Gauntlet knowing I'll just transfer with a nice friend when I need it. But it says I cannot transfer until 3 months of depositing. So this 3rd place was huge as it helps my BR there but if I don't cash again I may need some help |

| Ok $100 to Bjsaust if I drink more than one soft drink this month. Also gonna eat really healthy and may put some money on if I don't lose like 15 lbs. or whatever. Getting a little husky now so I want to get back down like 15 lbs. I will be completely honest. Also probably some bets about fast food eating. And by bets I mean I owe him stuff and he owes me nothing. GL Ben! |

I drank a soft drink Friday. Gl, Ben. Still having to think about the fast food thing, Da Goat.
Not much poker playing. Going to give a new coach a try sometime after the 24th. Won't say who just yet. Um, oh yeah forgot I went down 3 buyins my last attempt at playing. Lost in the Gauntlet when AK < A8s but I have no room to talk about beats in those things. Also got a new job . Thinking I will actually be doing 2 part time jobs and summer school soon which sucks for poker playing (let alone summer), but one job I'm pretty excited for.
Everyone is in Vegas . I think that may be my next goal; to get to Vegas next summer. ENJOY! |

Seriously, you drank an approx $102 can of drink? I hope you kept the can...
Work is good, just means you need to schedule some time for pokers. |
